Private chef service
From £500 per day + travel, accommodation and ingredients
Subject to the total number of people catered for and the number of meals per day
Teaching
Fees include time and ingredients, but exclude mileage and travel time
One-on-one tuition and small groups (up to 8 people)
£125 per person per half day (£225 per full day)
subject to minimum £375 per half day (£675 per full day)
Public cookery demonstrations
£400 for up to 3 hours of demonstration and Q&A
Terms of service.
Deposit
I require a deposit to confirm a date for a booking. Once you are happy with the menu and the overall price, I require the full, balancing payment 3 days before the event.
Cancellation and refunds
For cancellations at least one week in advance of the event, I will refund 75% of your deposit. The remainder will be retained to compensate for time costs incurred in designing the menu, arranging the event and the opportunity cost of not working.
For cancellations less than one week or more than 3 days in advance of the event, I will refund 50% of your deposit and retain 50% to cover time costs incurred in arranging the event, designing and preparing the menu, and the cost of ingredients pre-ordered with my suppliers to ensure supply.
No refunds will be offered for cancellations less than 3 days in advance of the event but I will endeavour to make myself available for an alternative date.
If I have to cancel your booking, I will endeavour to find someone to replace me, or refund your deposit in full.
Changes to the size of your party
If you wish to increase the size of your party, please notify me at least 3 days in advance of the event, so that I can buy ingredients accordingly. A minimum invoice may apply.
I am unable to offer any refund if you wish to reduce the size of your party within 3 days of the event or if any of your guests cancel. This is because of the time incurred planning the event and the cost of buying ingredients.
